Sometimes the most fundamental principles of a thing get lost in the muddled process... of the thing! The thing Jeff and Jonny talk about in this episode is small church ministry.
This episode is not about the team that grew their church to 3,000+, it's about you, in your small church, and the simple things that you can incorporate, tweak, or adjust TODAY, that will make a difference and help you create a more spiritual, relational, and enjoyable experience the next time people step into your 200church! Jeff and Jonny talk about Facilities, People, and Programs as they share some simple areas to evaluate and tweak for improving the experience that both your church family, and new people, have at your church. In terms of your facilities, are things outdated? Is there clutter? How about a confusing layout? How about your services - are they confusing, or would they make sense to guests? Regarding people - are they nice? Do they notice first time guests? Is Miss Trunchbull the Nursery Coordinator? Miss Trunchbull is NOT your Children's Pastor, is she??!!
How about your Programs? Are they relationship oriented or activity oriented? Do they use people or benefit people? Do volunteers know what's expected of them?
These are just some of the things that Jonny and Jeff talk about. Enjoy!

The three essential, evaluative questions are these:
This episode is all about increasing the impact of your weekend message. While it may be only 30 minutes on a Sunday, or a Saturday night, we believe that your message should be much, much longer!
In this episode the guys talk about an approach they are embarking on this coming weekend. An approach that involves the use of technology to create conversations around the weekend message. This is not rocket science. It is an approach that you can join them in. They talk about a way to prepare their people more for the message on Sunday, then help them reflect and act on it during the coming week. This is an approach to increasing the impact of our sermons way beyond what they have been. You'll just have to listen... And below are links to the resources they talk about... On Episode 159 we talk about how ANY SIZE CHURCH can have a bigger impact in their community. It's true, you don't have to be a large church to have a large impact. In fact, many larger churches have very small impacts on their communities.
Jeff and Jonny develop two main thoughts - 1) community involvement/service, and 2) deepening relationships. Jeff and Jonny help you imagine how your church family can grow and develop in ways that will enlarge the footprint of your church in your community. We hope you enjoy this episode!
